DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of Longview Presents Tour de Blast! \nThe Tour de Blast is a challenging and scenic cycling event held on the south side of Mount St. Helens\, one of the most iconic volcanic landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. Riders take on a demanding out-and-back course that climbs deep into the blast zone created by the 1980 eruption\, offering a rare chance to experience the stark\, dramatic recovery of the terrain up close. \nThe ride typically starts in the lower elevations near the Wind River area and ascends through dense forest into increasingly rugged volcanic terrain\, with sweeping views of lava fields\, pumice plains\, and\, on clear days\, glimpses of the mountain itself.
