The North County Recreation Association (NCRA) is a volunteer‑run non‑profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing youth sports and community gatherings in north Cowlitz County. The centerpiece of this effort is the expansive Youth Sports Complex and beautifully designed Picnic Pavilion event venue. 

At the heart of NCRA’s mission is a first‑class recreational hub featuring well‑maintained baseball, softball, and soccer fields, a utility field, paved walking trails, batting cages, a concession stand and clubhouse, and a community garden and orchard. The complex provides a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for athletes of all ages to play, compete, and connect throughout seasonal leagues and tournaments. 

The open‑beam Picnic Pavilion — with its soaring cathedral ceiling, rustic architectural details, landscaped grounds, and ambient lighting — offers an ideal venue for private celebrations and community events. Capable of hosting up to 275 guests, it is perfect for reunions, birthdays, graduation and retirement parties, showers, concerts, and more. All rental proceeds directly support ongoing maintenance and improvements to the Youth Sports Complex.
